Conducting Effective Meetings

Course Price: $50.00

Course Description

This module describes effective meetings and the steps to planning successful meetings. This module also explains how to use the meeting agenda and the interrogatory words who, what, where, when, why, and how to create a "blueprint" for your meeting.

Anyone associated with the construction industry knows that creating a plan and implementing that plan are two very different activities. Construction projects can suffer from last-minute blueprint changes just as meetings can. Both can encounter equipment failure, poor scheduling, bad communication, and even inclement weather, if they have been scheduled at the job site.

Even the perfect plan for meeting does not guarantee total success. But, having no plan can guarantee failure. The sound construction plan, like the well-planned meeting, created contingencies for every possible adverse situation. This module examines the practical aspects and potential problems of conducting and following up your meeting.
