State Requirements

Massachusetts
  • The state requires all employees working on a public construction site to have completed an OSHA 10-hour safety-and-health program.
  • All workers must complete the OSHA10-hour safety-and-health program before beginning work on the project.
  • contractor is required to furnish documentation of the successful completion of the 10-hour safety-and-health program with the first certified payroll report for each employee.
  • Any employee found on a worksite without documentation of successful completion of a 10-hour safety-and-health program will be subject to immediate removal
 
DOL vs. OSHAcampus card
  • OSHAcampus 10- hour safety course covers the 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) and/or 29 CFR 1926 (Construction) and follows the same training guidelines as the DOL card.
  • Upon completion of the course, graduates will be issued an official OSHAcampus wallet card certifying successful completion of the program.
