State Requirements

Nevada
  • The state requires a trainer to display his or her trainer card in a conspicuous manner at each location where the trainer provides an OSHA-10 course or OSHA-30 course.
  • A trainer is a person who has completed OSHA 500, the trainer course for the construction industry. A trainer card is issued on completion of OSHA 500. It reflects the authorization given to the holder by OSHA to provide OSHA-10 courses and OSHA-30 courses.
  • No person other than a trainer can provide an OSHA-10 course or OSHA-30 course.
  • Nevada 10 Hour OSHA Training is required for Nevada employees and 30 Hour OSHA Training is required of Nevada supervisors as of January 1st, 2010
 
DOL vs. OSHAcampus card
  • OSHAcampus 10- hour safety course covers the 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) and/or 29 CFR 1926 (Construction) and follows the same training guidelines as the DOL card.
  • Upon completion of the course, graduates will be issued an official OSHAcampus wallet card certifying successful completion of the program.
