- The state requires a trainer to display his or her trainer card in a conspicuous manner at each location where the trainer provides an OSHA-10 course or OSHA-30 course.
- A trainer is a person who has completed OSHA 500, the trainer course for the construction industry. A trainer card is issued on completion of OSHA 500. It reflects the authorization given to the holder by OSHA to provide OSHA-10 courses and OSHA-30 courses.
- No person other than a trainer can provide an OSHA-10 course or OSHA-30 course.
- Nevada 10 Hour OSHA Training is required for Nevada employees and 30 Hour OSHA Training is required of Nevada supervisors as of January 1st, 2010
