The state requires a trainer to display his or her trainer card in a conspicuous manner at each location where the trainer provides an OSHA-10 course or OSHA-30 course.
A trainer is a person who has completed OSHA 500, the trainer course for the construction industry. A trainer card is issued on completion of OSHA 500. It reflects the authorization given to the holder by OSHA to provide OSHA-10 courses and OSHA-30 courses.
No person other than a trainer can provide an OSHA-10 course or OSHA-30 course.
Nevada 10 Hour OSHA Training is required for Nevada employees and 30 Hour OSHA Training is required of Nevada supervisors as of January 1st, 2010
DOL vs. OSHAcampus card
OSHAcampus 10- hour safety course covers the 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) and/or 29 CFR 1926 (Construction) and follows the same training guidelines as the DOL card.
Upon completion of the course, graduates will be issued an official OSHAcampus wallet card certifying successful completion of the program.
