The OSHA Outreach Training Program is OSHA's primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. The OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Training Programs were developed by the OSHA Training Institute with the intent to assist employers in training and introducing employees to the basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work.
Over the past three years, over 1.3 million students have received training through this program.
This course is designed for construction workers as an ideal orientation to those who are new to the industry and as a reminder those who have been working in the industry to the hazards associated with their work.
The 10-hour program is intended to provide a variety of training on General Industry safety and health to entry level workers.
The programs are broken down into two vertical standards, Construction and General Industry. Online Outreach Training Providers must receive acceptance of their Training Programs from the OSHA Outreach Training Program prior to making them available to their students. OSHAcampus.com has received acceptance of their programs through their parent company 360training.com and have been offering the OSHA 10 Hour Training Programs online since 2005.
In order to receive your OSHA Outreach DOL course completion card you must complete the survey at the end of the course.
